Extemporaneous Speaking

Speechify coaches have reached the finals of almost every single national circuit tournament.

Competitors are given three current-event topics and choose one to answer. They have 30 minutes to research and prepare a 7-minute speech, using limited outside resources to develop a clear argument supported by evidence and analysis. Speakers must quickly understand complex issues, organize their research into a compelling argument, and deliver their speech confidently without a script.
